How Our 5-Day Refinishing Process Works
Every kitchen transformation follows the same proven system — designed for efficiency, precision, and lasting quality. From careful prep to the final installation, each step ensures your cabinets get a flawless, smooth finish that’s built to handle daily life.
Step One
Preparation (Day 1-2)
We begin by protecting your home and preparing every surface for refinishing. Countertops, floors, walls, and appliances are carefully masked to prevent dust or overspray. Once the space is secure, doors and cabinet structures are degreased and sanded to create the perfect foundation for a flawless, lasting finish.
Step Two
Primer (Day 3)
After prep, we apply two coats of high-performance primer to ensure strong adhesion and long-term durability. This step also allows us to smooth out imperfections and create an even base for the top coats. Any imperfections such as scratches and dents are visible after primer. These will be filled in using red bondo glaze, wood filler or 2 part bondo depending on size of damage. This will ensure a smooth uniform finish all doors.
Step Three
Top Coats (Day 4)
Once the primer has cured, we carefully sand it smooth to prepare for the finishing coats. Then, we apply two spray coats of Renner 765 with Hardener Catalyst for a flawless, factory-quality finish. This advanced coating provides exceptional durability, resistance to daily wear, and a beautiful, even sheen that makes your cabinets look brand-new.
Step Four
Installation (Day 5)
On the final day, we carefully reinstall every cabinet door, drawer, and piece of hardware with precision. Once everything is in place, we perform a full cleanup so your kitchen is spotless and ready to enjoy. The result is a refreshed, durable finish that looks brand-new and functions flawlessly — all in just 5 days.
